the path leading towards stable mental health

Individual Adult Therapy

Most of my work with adult clients involves being in challenging relationships, dealing with anxiety that interferes with their daily lives, or facing a life transition.

When providing relationship support for an individual, I am guided by a strong belief that past experiences have shaped us into who we are today. My child development background helps give an in-depth understanding about how childhood events and relationships take a part in the way we interact with the world and those around us.

Clients with anxiety are given a safe space to explore their thoughts and worries. By processing your concerns your feelings can become more manageable. I want to help the client sort out what can be controlled and what cannot, and provide a grounded place from which to make decisions for their life.

Life transitions include getting married or divorced, moving, having a new child join the family, losing a loved one, and starting or ending a job or career. Having a professional you trust there to talk though all the feelings and decisions that come with life transitions can help smooth out these bumps in the road of life, and leave you feeling less overwhelmed.
